Dialogue with Elected Officials from the Terre des 2 Caps Region

Transparency, dialogue, and insight into our operations: les Granulats du Groupe CB brought together elected officials from the Communauté de Communes de la Terre des 2 Caps to discuss the challenges, projects, and commitments of the CB Group, its Aggregates division, and, more specifically, Carrières du Boulonnais. The meeting was marked by a spirit of collaboration and trust and was followed by a tour of the Ferques quarry.

ABCD: A Groundbreaking Alliance to Accelerate the Transition to Low-Carbon Concrete and Cement

As a founding member of the ABCD Alliance, CB Green is joining forces with Bouygues Construction, Ecocem France, and POINT.P to accelerate the decarbonization of concrete and cement. This collective initiative aims to deploy low-carbon solutions that are already available and operational on a large scale.

Industrial Field Trip to the Ferques Quarry for Children from the Maisons des Enfants de la Côte d’Opale

The CB Group welcomed about 20 children from the Maisons des Enfants de la Côte d’Opale for an immersive experience at the Carrières du Boulonnais in Ferques. It was a day dedicated to exploring different careers, the stone production process, and industrial tourism.

At the entrance to EDF’s Gravelines nuclear power plant, a six-metric-ton stone quarried in Ferques now bears a powerful message promoting safety, security, and health. Through this symbolic project, Carrières du Boulonnais, a subsidiary of the CB Group, is putting its expertise to work on an iconic project that exemplifies both local industrial excellence and the shared commitment of the region’s stakeholders.

To mark the 30th anniversary of the Landscape Plan, Groupe CB has teamed up with the Parc Naturel Régional to introduce visitors to the Marquise quarry basin through exclusive tours and a variety of events.
