BFM Business 2026 ETI Grand Prix: CB Group Named a Finalist

As a finalist in the 2026 BFM Business Mid-Sized Companies Awards, the CB Group celebrates 130 years of commitment and passing on its legacy

The CB Group is proud to be among the finalists for the 2026 BFM Business ETI Grand Prix 2026 BFM Business in the “Family Ownership” category . This distinction recognizes an independent business model that has been led by the same family for five generations and driven by a long-term vision.

Recognition of a Collective Endeavor

To mark this selection, Ludovic Poulain, CEO of the CB Group, appeared as a guest on BFM Business to discuss the group’s history, values, and outlook.

Throughout the discussion, he highlighted what makes the CB Group unique: its ability to evolve with the times while remaining true to its roots. Founded in the Boulogne region with a focus on stone quarrying, the group has expanded over the decades into new business areas, guided by a single conviction: to create sustainable value from natural resources and contribute to regional development.

For nearly 130 years, the CB Group has been built on the strength of dedicated men and women who have passed down their expertise, values, and entrepreneurial spirit from one generation to the next.

Today, this continuity serves as a powerful driving force for tackling the challenges of tomorrow, innovating, investing, and supporting the transitions that are transforming our industries.

A sense of pride shared by all the teams

This recognition is, above all, a collective achievement. It honors the daily dedication of the group’s nearly 800 employees, as well as the trust of its customers, partners, and stakeholders.

Being a finalist in the 2026 Grands Prix des ETI is a recognition of a family-run entrepreneurial story that continues to unfold with the same energy, the same spirit of initiative, and the same determination to shape the future.
