How about joining Cosylva as a maintenance technician?

As part of a team of five people, you will be responsible for maintaining the machines and equipment in our glued laminated timber manufacturing workshops and sawmill.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Perform corrective maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and metalwork equipment.
  • Establish a diagnosis, design and seek solutions in collaboration with your manager in order to achieve the best possible result in terms of technical quality/cost/deadlines.
  • Perform and arrange for repairs to be performed
  • Perform necessary regular maintenance (lubrication, checks, etc.)
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and proactively detect malfunctions to reduce interventions (costs, frequency, duration).
  • Participate in planning interventions to avoid production stoppages
  • Inform your manager if the stock level of spare parts is low.
  • Propose and carry out improvement work, participate in the completion of certain new projects and investments

YOUR STRENGTHS FOR THE JOB

Graduate with at least a vocational baccalaureate in systems maintenance or electrical engineering.

  • You must be comfortable with computers and have a good understanding of electrical standards, reading plans, and manufacturer instructions.
  • curious, thorough, and enjoys working in a team
  • ability to work at height, operate machinery, and work on electrical equipment with certification, ideally BR BC B2V Ho electrical certifications
  • Three years of initial experience in maintenance is required. An in-house training period will be provided to learn how the machines work.
