Design office technician, work-study F/H

You are looking for your first or a new opportunity in the industrial field. Your seriousness, organization, and motivation to learn are well recognize and appreciated.
You
You're in your second or third year of a BTS or BUT. You're passionate about industrial product design and 3D modeling. We're offering you an internship that we hope you'll be able to continue on a sandwich course from September 2024.
You are recognized for your analytical skills and thoroughness. You're a team player who likes to think on your feet.
Your advantage: you're able to read blueprints and are ideally familiar with SOLIDWORKS and AUTOCAD.
Your apprenticeship
The proposed mission is to assist our design office technicians and engineers within a team of 7 people. We offer you the opportunity to gradually build up your skills in our businesses over a period of several months, starting in April, prior to a work-study placement in our Refractories division.
In particular, you will be responsible for .
- analyze study requests
- propose technical solutions
- 3D modeling
- produce drawings (overall and details)
- produce costings (bills of materials)
You will work closely with our engineers and thermal engineers to validate the various stages of each project.
The position is based in Décines (near Lyon).
