The Refractory Division Will Be in Pittsburgh
The AISTech 2026 Steel Conference is one of the most influential global events for the iron and steel industry.
Organized by the Association for Iron & Steel Technology, the event brings together industry leaders, manufacturers, and technology providers to exchange insights, explore new technologies, and address the challenges shaping the future of steel production.
The event will take place in Pittsburgh from May 4–6, 2026, offering a key opportunity to connect with the international steelmaking community.

Recognized as a global reference in refractory solutions, the Refractory Division of Groupe CB brings together the combined expertise of TRB Refractories and Mt. Savage Specialty Refractories. Together, they combine more than 130 years of industrial experience in the design and manufacture of high-performance refractory lining systems dedicated to the most demanding industrial environments.
With an annual production capacity exceeding 50,000 tons of refractory products, supported by 10 production workshops across France and the United States, the Division ensures high manufacturing capacity and industrial flexibility. The organization operates in 35 countries, serving a wide network of international partners. Its combined teams bring together 200 professionals, including 20 experts dedicated to R&D laboratories and advanced engineering design, ensuring continuous innovation and technical excellence.
Through this integration, the Refractory Division strengthens its international reach while maintaining strong proximity to customers, offering high-value technical support and reliable refractory solutions worldwide.
High-Temperature Expertise for the Steel Industry
At AISTech 2026, the Refractory Division will showcase the joint expertise of TRB and MT Savage in high-temperature industrial applications, including:
