HSE Prevention Coordinator F/H

You will provide expertise and advice to the sites!

At Carrières Blanc in the Rhône-Alpes region, we are looking for an HSE prevention coordinator F/H for our 5 operating sites located in Izernore, Champdor, Porcieu, Cusy and Hauteville.

You are responsible for ensuring that the Group's HSE tools are used correctly.

As the interface between the sites and head office, your main tasks will be to :

Awareness-raising / support
- Maintain a presence in the field to verify compliance with Group and HSE regulatory requirements via audits/visits/VOCs.
- Raise awareness among relevant personnel (in particular following observations made during field visits)
- Act as the main contact for operational and management teams
- Support sites when external service providers are involved: prevention plans, safety protocol, work permits, etc. - Participate in the development and implementation of tools.

Risk management

- Deploy prevention tools (safety culture, HSE initiatives, talks, etc.) at the sites within your scope
- Identify risks in collaboration with field supervisors in order to provide input for occupational and environmental risk assessments (DUERP, SEIRICH, environmental analysis, etc.).)
- Identify and report any actual or potential OHS and environmental malfunctions (risks), and initiate and monitor the corresponding preventive or corrective actions
- In collaboration with the Group HSE department, guarantee the progress of HSE actions in support of managers (HSE committee). 

Controls

- Plan regulatory controls in line with the Group's tools, and ensure that registers are kept.

- Auditing external companies to ensure compliance with prevention plans

SPECIFICATIONS: regular travel (estimated at 3 days a week). Occasional travel throughout France. Authority to suspend all activity in the event of serious and imminent danger.

Your qualifications and skills:
With a bachelor's degree in HSE or a technical field, you have at least three years of proven experience in HSE, ideally acquired on a construction site or in the building and public works sector. You are a man/woman of conviction and passion, and you take action in the field.
You are independent and rigorous, with strong interpersonal skills and a pragmatic approach.
